Kiersten has had the joy of working as a veterinary assistant at Frankfort Animal Hospital since 2008. She grew up in Zionsville, IN with her 2 siblings, parents, and various furry friends. For as long as she can remember, she has wanted to become a veterinarian. After attending Purdue University and receiving her degree in Animal Science in 2010, she has begun to realize this dream. In fall of 2010, she began her first year of veterinary school at Purdue. Kiersten currently plans to pursue a career in companion animal medicine.

Kiersten has a passion for horses and has been riding since she was six years old. She has a 9-year-old tobiano paint, Hunter, who she rides for pleasure and foxhunts when her schedule permits. Kiersten also has a beautiful boxer puppy, Zoey Jane. In her free time, if she isn't riding she enjoys reading, going to cheer on the Colts, and going to her lake house for some watersport fun! Kiersten can't wait to meet you and your pets next time you come to FAH!! :)
